If for any reason you are experiencing issues with your service, we ask that you report this to our customer care team on 01775 830830. If we are unable to resolve your issue, we will cancel your order without any early termination fees.

No, you don’t need a landline. Your broadband will still work whether you have a landline phone or not.

If you do want a home phone, we offer Home Phone plans from just £4.80 a month in addition to your broadband.

No problem! With One Touch Switch, we can move your broadband over to LightSpeed and take care of cancelling your old service for you.

We can also cover up to £350* towards your early termination fees to make the switch a little easier.

*Cover up to £350 depending on the package you purchase through LightSpeed. Higher-speed packages are entitled to higher coverage towards your current providers early termination fees. If your Wi-Fi struggles to reach certain rooms (especially upstairs or at the back of the house) a mesh system can help boost the signal across your home.

Things like thick walls or where your router is placed can affect your signal strength. If in doubt, our team can recommend what’s best for your setup.

You can add mesh devices starting from £6.99/month when you order or call us later to add additional mesh to your broadband package.

When your engineer arrives, they’ll chat with you about the best place to install your equipment, usually near an exterior wall on the ground floor. They’ll then get everything set up, including your router.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Installation can take up to 2 hours

• Someone aged over 18 will need to be at home for the entire appointment

• Make sure you have at least 2 power sockets available nearby to power your router

• Keep any pets away from where the engineer is working (for their safety and ours!)

If you package contains an eero router this will be delivered to your home address prior to your installation appointment. Make sure you have it to hand on the day for a quick and easy set up!

An IP address is like your home address, but for your internet connection. It helps websites and devices know where to send data.

A static IP means your internet address always stays the same.

This is particularly useful if you:

• Want to access your home CCTV or devices when you're away

• Run a website or business from home

• Use services that need a fixed connection

Static IPs give you a more stable and reliable connection for certain tasks. If you're not sure whether you need one, just ask, we're happy to help.

Any equipment provided by LightSpeed is on loan and needs to be returned when your contract ends.

If it’s not returned, or is returned damaged, charges may apply as set out in our Terms and Conditions.

If you're moving home to an area we can service, we will set up a new order for you at your new property.

If you do move to an area we can't service  you will need to provide proof of change of address we will cancel your order without any termination fees.
