LightSpeed Broadband – 1Gb + SimpliSafe ‘The Starter’ Home Security

1. Restrictions and requirements

1.1. Advertised prices are only applicable to new LightSpeed Broadband customers placing orders for 1Gb broadband + Simplisafe Starter kit package, applicable only to residential properties within the promotional period described below.

1.2. We will not charge for standard installation of the broadband if you sign up for 1Gb 24-months plan.

1.3. These terms and conditions are intended to be read in addition to the LightSpeed’s Residential T&Cs found here: Terms and Conditions. In case of conflict between these Terms and Conditions and our Residential T&Cs, these Terms and Conditions will prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.

1.4. We will be providing you with leased broadband equipment as part of the installation which you will need to return to us in accordance with our T&Cs on termination of the contract between us. If you fail to return the equipment to us, we are entitled to charge you for the cost of such equipment in accordance with our T&Cs.

1.5. We will not charge for standard installation of the broadband but if bespoke installation is required, such as digging longer than usual drives to install the fibres, then further charges are payable which we shall quote once we have undertaken a survey. You will have a chance to cancel your order if you do not agree to these further charges.

2. Start and closing dates

2.1. The 1Gb + Simplisafe Starter kit package Promotion runs from 13 June to 30 September 2024 (‘Promotional Period’) We may end the promotion before this time at our discretion.

3. Detail of offer

3.1. You need to be a new LightSpeed Broadband customer and sign up for a 24-month 1Gb package + Simplisafe Starter kit package.

3.2. During the offer period of the 13 June to 30 September 2024, the price for the 24 months 1Gb + SimpliSafe The Starter package only will be £46 each month for 24 months. New customers and eligible properties only.

3.3. If the 1Gb broadband contract continues to run for monthly periods beyond the 24-month minimum term, the price per month (from month 25) will revert to the list price advertised for existing customers at that point in time. As at the date of these Terms and Conditions, that list price for our 1Gb broadband package is £39.99 per month however this is subject to change.

4. Eligibility

4.1. If you cancel within 14 days of signing the contract with LightSpeed Broadband, you will need return our equipment in good condition (in its original packaging).

5. General

5.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions and/or withdraw them at any time with or without notice.

5.2. The 1Gb + Simplisafe Starter kit package Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

5.3. LightSpeed Broadband reserves the right at its sole discretion to substitute this 1GB + Home Security Package Promotion of equal or greater value or not replace it at all.

6. Home Security Package

6.1. The equipment will be provided by SimpliSafe, our trusted partner.

6.2. Service Provider Disclaimer: It's important to note that Lightspeed doesn't directly provide the home security service but acts as a distributor on behalf of SimpliSafe. 6.3. Simplisafe Starter Kit has a 24-month minimum term after this period you will own the hardware. If you chose to end your subscription during your minimum term you will be subjected to early termination fees. See Residential T&C’s.
